In 2016 I applied for a grant called Teachers for Global Classrooms, which is a year long professional development opportunity for teachers to learn in depth about global education approaches and to study in another country. In spring 2017 I traveled to Morocco!
This global education guide is intended for the use of teacher colleagues at Shades Valley High School, the Jefferson County School System, the Alabama Art Education Association (AAEA), art teachers and for teachers of all subjects interested in global education initiatives. The intended purpose of this guide is to familiarize with the concept of global education, what it is, and how we can integrate this into our classrooms by providing resources that give you some ideas on where to start. |
